For the 2nd year in a row, a Kenya Connect robotics team has won the World Robotics Olympiad in Nairobi. The Kilembwa “Lobster” team won first place out of 36 teams, beating National Schools and well-funded private schools. Maxwell, Dennis and Joshua are the new champions. They were coached by Teacher Michael Muthama and KC Tech Team member, Brian Mbuvi.
The “Lobster” team is now preparing for the International Competition in Singapore. We are looking for sponsors to help their dreams come true.

These opportunities allow students to grow and challenge themselves in new ways. We are grateful to our tech partners, Team4Tech, Google, TechSparque Foundation, Raspberry Pi Foundation and FII and to so many individual donors for helping us to provide the resources and tools to make these kinds of opportunities possible.
