The Power of Kindness

At Fortune LitClub, members explored the power of kindness as one of LitWorld’s seven strengths through a joyful and reflective session. During a Kindness Tag activity, each member wrote something kind about one another and taped it to their backs, creating a moment filled with encouragement, laughter, and appreciation as everyone discovered the affirming words their peers had shared. The room quickly filled with smiles as members realized how powerful simple words of kindness can be.

We also enjoyed a read aloud of “You Will Do Great Things” by Amerie, a beautiful reminder that every person carries the potential to do amazing things when they are supported. The story encouraged members to believe in themselves while also recognizing the importance of cheering others on. As we marked International Women’s Day, the session reminded us that celebrating and uplifting one another is one of the most powerful ways we can honor the strength, kindness, and limitless potential in every girl.
