Esther is a dedicated and passionate registered community health nurse and has been in the healthcare industry for ten years. She has worked with leading healthcare institutions in the country cutting through both the public and private sectors like Kenyatta National Hospital and The Aga khan University Hospital among others. She has also worked in the NGO sector in different programs in improving maternal health and prevention of HIV from mother to child transmission.
She is passionate about education and believes in lifelong learning. She strongly believes that learning should be play based and fun filled, and every child has a right to education which is essential for an all-round personal development. While growing up she loved reading storybooks but there was no library in their school nor in the community, a gap that Kenya Connect filled, giving students and the community a chance to read widely and become wise. Wisdom is continuous application of education to solve the problems of humanity and it is only through education that all human problems can be solved.
While not taking care of patients Esther loves baking and making creative and customized design cakes an art and skill that she is passionate of and looks forward to sharing with others and the community at large.
