Lindsay Kincaid

Lindsay is an educator and researcher guided by the conviction that meaningful progress begins with local knowledge and grows through trust. She is dedicated to strengthening community-rooted programs and expanding opportunities for rural learners. Before leading Kenya Connect (USA), Lindsay served as Chief Program Officer at Team4Tech, where she partnered with education-focused nonprofits around the world to improve teaching and learning through technology. Her work with Team4Tech brought her into close collaboration with Kenya Connect, and she joined its U.S. Board of Trustees in 2025. Lindsay began her career as a public high school teacher in Kansas, teaching English, video production, International Baccalaureate Film Studies, and spoken word poetry. She later led open education initiatives at the CK-12 Foundation, served as adjunct faculty with the Johns Hopkins University School of Education, and contributed to global education innovation as a Fellow with MIT Solve and the Jacobs Foundation. Lindsay holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Kansas and is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Studies at the University of Victoria. Her research explores how communities use storytelling and mapping to preserve knowledge, represent place on their own terms, and remain stewards of the stories they share.
