KC Selected as a Team4Tech Partner!

Blog > Focus Area: Technology, General News

We are super jazzed and honored to be named a 2021 Team4Tech partner. Over 300 non-profits worldwide applied with Kenya Connect selected as one of 10 partner s. We are thrilled to join partners from Uganda, Peru, Guatamela, Vietnam, Jordan and Mexico.
With the mission of improving the quality of education for under resourced learners by building nonprofit capacity through technology and training, Team4Tech envisions a world where all learners have access to quality education for better employment and economic opportunities. Team4Tech will match Kenya Connect with a corporate partner who will assist us in realizing our technology and educational dreams. The projects we will be working on include setting up and operationalizing our new EdTech Hub and Maker Space, helping us strengthen digital learning for our students and teachers, and helping us nurture future tech professionals! What’s especially exciting about this partnership is that it is a 3-5 year program which means we can build deep relationships as we implement our programs. The partnership also includes $15,000 per year in support for our tech programs.
The Team4Tech partnership will support our goal to bridge the digital divide and provide 21st century learning. We will keep you posted on how the partnership progresses.
