Henry E. Niles Foundation Awards Grant!

Blog > Focus Area: Literacy, General News

Did you know our Magic School Bus and Reading Rover Truck visit 21 partner primary schools? With over 4,000 library card holders, students check out books from our 10,000+ book collection.
We are thrilled to announce that the Henry E. Niles Foundation awarded us a grant of $2500 for our Library Program. The grant will be used to purchase Kenyan authored and published books as well as providing funds to enroll two more partner schools. Our goal is to enroll all 62 partner schools and grow our book collection to serve the 18,000 students, 500 teachers and their parents in our community.
Interested in helping us to grow our library collection? We invite you to hold a gently used book collection or purchase a book from our wonderful Amazon Wishlist.
