About this program

Our TechTeam visits schools with a set of computers so the students can learn the basics; how to turn on the computer, use a mouse and type on the keyboard, word processing, and how to access the internet. In addition, they are learning coding with Scratch. Computer day is one of the most exciting days of the week! Instead of learning about computing from looking at a book, students are now using them! Through interactive exercises, students and teachers are brought into the world of technology preparing them with 21st century skills.

“It was my first time holding a computer in my hands. Now, I know how to use it. I can type and even teach my friends from other classes how to use it. Technology is my favourite subject!”
