About this program

Kenya Connect has been the leader in providing technology professional development for teachers in our region. Most of the teachers did not know how to use a computer or tablet which resulted in our staff developing and providing workshops on basic computing. As the teachers’ skills and confidence have grown, we are now offering workshops on how to integrate technology in the classroom, scratch and python coding, and instructional resources found on the internet. In the coming year, we plan to introduce AI for lesson planning and content understanding.

“Through computers in the classroom, I have been empowered to deliver content more effectively to learners. It has made learning more practical and engaging, as students can now interact with real computers while learning.”
