About this program
“Turn and talk to your partner on how to solve the math problem on the board.” Since the opening of the Learning Resource Center, Kenya Connect has offered teacher professional development workshops on a variety of topics including Literacy, Dyslexia and Learning Challenges, Technology, Question Formation Technique (QFT) and STEM. These workshops have been designed to offer tools and ideas to teachers on how to use best practices to implement the Kenya Curriculum and develop 21st century learning in sync with the competency-based curriculum.

“As a result of the Dyslexia training, I have been able to assist several children who at first I could not reach their different needs. Currently, they are doing so well. I’m finding it easy to accommodate all the learners in my lesson by catering to individual differences.”
