Kenya Connect was selected as the Best Community Based Organization at the 7th annual DIAR Awards. Our work to ensure rural children leave education with options, by developing the skills, values and pathways to thrive is being recognized! Our vision is an empowered rural community that learns, grows, and thrives together and we work closely with parents, teachers and community leaders to accomplish our vision. A HUGE Kenyan Clap to the entire Kenya Connect staff for their tireless, passionate and creative work to empower our rural community. I am also deeply grateful to the thousands of donors and friends who support our work. We could not reach 18,000 students without your help! It is truly an honor to receive this award.
