As a result of Covid-19, we are holding the  KC 5K as a Virtual Race!   You are probably wondering what that means…..

We are inviting all registrants to still run, walk, skip, hop, or couch surf on Saturday, March 28 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm (EDT).   You can run/walk outside or on a treadmill. Once you complete the 5K send us your time! Now, we are expecting complete honesty on the time. Top three runners/walkers in all age categories will win a hand-carved medallion from Wamunyu and the top male/female overall will win some gift cards.

There will also be prizes for best pictures sent in. … we will be posting pics throughout the day of our virtual participants! Just a couch surfer….. we want to see a pic too!

All registered participants for 2020 will also receive a $10.00 discount if you register for 2021 . 100% of funds raised from our virtual race supports Kenya Connect’s work to strengthen education at 58 schools in rural Kenya.

We already have runners signed up from Hawaii, Vermont, Arizona, Virginia and Maryland… If you are a distance, we want YOU to join us!
